The Lockey Intumescent Fire Door Kit is designed to protect any weak points of a door in the case of a fire. The weak points can be caused by installing hardware to doors. The intumescent kit helps to prevent the spread of fire by its material expanding when heated and then it wraps itself around the components of the hardware to preserve the lock and seal any gaps.

The intumescent kit has been customised from 1mm self adhesive graphite for ease of installation and includes templates and fitting instructions to ensure installation is carried out as per the test/assessment requirements.
